Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead as the Head of Human Resources and Administration. This pivotal role entails comprehensive management of human resources functions and administrative responsibilities, encompassing facilities, finance, and information technology within a fast-paced, innovative organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Strategically lead HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Drive strategic HR planning to align talent with organizational goals, establishing the company as a top industry employer.
Develop and enforce HR policies compliant with legal standards.
Implement training programs to boost employee skills and performance.
Oversee organizational design, job structuring, and compensation schemes.
Manage comprehensive compensation and benefits packages.
Coordinate performance reviews, leadership talent assessments, and succession planning.
Foster employee engagement and a positive organizational culture.
Administration:
Provide strategic oversight of facilities, ensuring optimal work environments in Boston area locations.
Lead the IT infrastructure team, collaborating with service partners in the U.S. and abroad.
Oversee the finance team, maintaining accurate, compliant financial records and budgets.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Manage budget and financial performance for administrative areas.
Ensure clear performance metrics and accountability for staff.
Supervisory:
Lead and develop teams in HR, facilities, finance, and IT.
Establish and monitor performance metrics for direct reports.
Uphold company and legal standards in supervisory practices, including recruitment, performance management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
At least 12 years of progressive HR management experience.
Expertise in U.S. employment laws and best practices.
Experience in compensation program design.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is advantageous.
